Do Re Mi Fa So~

You don’t have to be an Adele or Rihanna or Adam Levine when it comes to singing.

Basically, everyone has the ability to sing! With the right amount of practice, commitment and right approach, you can sing too!

It sounds downright surprising that one can be trained to sing beautifully. To tell the truth, singing may or may not involve talents, but what’s more important is discipline.

As we have a singing coach, Ms Mei Ling, we are able to learn to control our voice projection as well as the tone of our singing from her. Even without any knowledge on tempos, with regular practice, you will get the hang of the rhythm.

After half a year of learning, the vocal class in MCJO Academy had decided to organize a Singing Night on the 9th of July. This event is important to every student involved in the class. It wasn’t just an opportunity for the student to showcase their talent or ability to sing, but also a solid platform to build up their confidence on stage.

The night was filled with melodious voices of different range. Students were able to learn from each other on every aspect in performing. The eye contact with the audience; control and vocal projection; conveyance of emotions; creating stage presence, all these are the singing dynamics that any singers need to take note on.

With much support and cheers from the guests, the mini concert was a great success! We weren’t just relieved for the fact that we had tried our best in our performance, we were looking forward to singing a brand new song for the next Singing Night at the end of the year!

Look how relieved we all were !

Having the skill to emcee for an event is fantastic! But to have the ability and skill to perform a song or two for any events would definitely make you stand out from the rest.

Should you have any interest in emceeing or singing, please do feel free to hit us up on our Facebook page or Whatsapp! We are more than welcome to assist you in striving for your stage performance!
