Emcee of the Week

Updated: May 28, 2019

No matter what you are working as right now, as long as you have the passion and interest to be on stage. An emceeing career is not to be missed!

Here, we have the emcee of the week, Karen Ong from our MCJO Academy. She has been enjoying the feeling on stage since she was young. The enthusiasm has grown so much stronger as she ages. As a professional physiotherapist, working and treating her patients in the hospital, it wasn’t easy for her to truly switch to be a full time emcee.

But her determination and love towards the glam on stage are magnetizing her to stay true to her heart’s desire. She made the bravest step of quitting her medical profession.

With a full time job as an emcee, she has fulfilled her every single minute and second to improve her talent on stage. She is always consciously focused on influencing in her job and crafting her best self to perform on stage.

It wasn’t long that people began to take notice. She soon has landed her dream as professional full time emcee. With her achievement as a Best Student for the Wedding Premium 6, Karen is undoubtedly inspired and working hard on building her reputation.

Today, you can see her emceeing for different events ranging from annual dinners to weddings.

But nonetheless, she hasn’t lost touch with her medical knowledge. On a weekly basis, Karen will be posting videos about some simple hands-on physiotherapy techniques. If you’re experiencing some discomfort on your muscles, take a look at the videos below!

Feeling inspired ? Get your emceeing dream fulfilled at our MCJO Academy now ! Life is short and what's better to wake up feeling energized by the passion of your work! Join us now for our emceeing course!

Wendy discovered MC JO Academy in 2017 and she became an emcee ever since. Blogging her heart out about her passion and experience as an emcee gives her so much freedom in expressing herself. She enjoys learning and indulging herself in rapid aggressive challenges such as speaking in front. Spotlights and microphones are her essential accessories to make a difference on stage.
