Superb Emcees CNY Dinner
Good friends, good food, good times.
In conjunction with the most anticipated and exciting CNY festival, MC JO Academy had just organized a Chinese New Year Dinner for all the emcee students last Sunday. Considering red is just too overrated for the festive season, MC JO herself had suggested that our dress code for the night would be a yellow one!
So you could see that we resemble the pineapple here… *ONG LAI ONG LAI* (aka prosperity)
Throughout the night, we had a tantalizing 8-course Chinese dinner along with a very important and crucial entertainment system… the karaoke!
Music and food and great company! Perfect for the emcees.
Not only that, we had also run a MCJO Academy: Slogan and Hand Gesture Competition for the year 2019.
We definitely want to congratulate Karen Ong for creating the slogan of梦想崛起，就在这里！which means “all dreams start here!” Her concept on this slogan based on the inspiration of not neglecting your own dreams while striving in your career. With MC JO
Academy, any dreams will take flight as long as you hold on to them. That stands true to our values as we would extend as much support and encouragement to see our students gear towards their achievement and reaching for the stars.
Also, a big congratulation to Janet Ng on winning the most creative hand gesture! According to her explanation, this hand gesture resembles the letter M, C and J which represents MCJO. Since the academy was founded in 2016, the thumb and the pinky resembles the number 6 and also the letter “J” and the joining of the hands also create a lovely heart shape. How creative!

Our night ended with a high note with lots of personal sharing and hugs. The entire dinner was wrapped up with a positive vibe. Channeling vibrant energy and restoring everyone's supply of positive chi ! A great night nonetheless and looking forward for more of these in the coming years!
